Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, Today I have quite a suprise for you. I managed to successfully wire tap the Hulkster's phone line and get him calling a sex store, on behalf of Lee. There were three phone calls. Two of them were to the same place, and the third one was to a different one. I taped the conversations and then uploaded them to the site. I zipped the wavs and put them in numerical order according to the order of which the call was received. Unfortunatly, if you listen you can tell that wav #7 was cut off at the end, but it should still be good anyway. If you want to download those calls click HERE In other news, we at the World want to salute The Thick Black Jap Italian C**k!!

Ooooooooo! Orangish! The poll, as some of you might know, has gone nuts. Matt's looking into it. I put up a little poll, but most people probably won't be able to vote. I guess it's not really important. Check out my Diseased Gate to see what I'm working on (scroll down to the bottom if you've read the other stuff already). Obviously, it's not finished, so don't be stupid about it. There's not much else really. HitNRun is gonna be posting the "Lee Story" that the Lee Quote was taken from soon. I'm not sure when though...I guess we'll find out! Oh, right, I posted some crap on the message board!

Okay, I wanted to move HitNRun's "wacky entry" off the front page as quickly as possibly. I got SERIOUSLY tired of hearing "the links are broke, man." For the love of God, like 2 of the 16 links worked. Since HitNRun isn't around, let me give him a clue here. Use "HTTP://." If you want to see the entry in question, check out the Update Archives. Why am I being so disrespectful to the one and only HitNRun? Well, I took offense to his entry. I didn't like his criticisms of my last update. I mean, I UPDATED! And he didn't...well, not until he decided it would be cool to trash my entry. I believe he was angered by the fact that I didn't give our new URL flashing light .gifs and sparkling Java banners. Well, if people aren't going to read these f---ing updates, then f--- them. If they don't know about the URL, whatever. The last thing I need is a new wave of illiterate bastards here. Sorry, maybe I'm overreacting. But I got a dozen emails and I a lot of IMs talking about his wonderful update, so I'm putting this up instead. Oh and I decided, while I'm at it, I'd put up a short FAQ about The Fall of Lee. Click on "FAQ" in the last sentence to read it.
Oh, and before I go. REMEMBER TO CLICK ON WWW.LEESTUFF.COM AND HAVE BIG ORGASM LICKING MEN WITH BENDOVER LEE!!! It's our new URL. Click there and be taken back to our main page! WEEEEEEEE!

Well, If you glance at the update below this one, you won't find any data on our new URL acquisition. Unless, of course, you look really hard, in which case you can see that Matt squeezed it in between sentences about the Fall of Lee game, which is in fact coming along nicely. So even though he hates it when I do this, I'm going to double break here...

-There-...and give proper fanfare to the fact that we now have our own real life URL, leestuff.com(!), which the wise and ambitious HitNRun arranged for, following the footsteps of Jakub, but that's okay because Jakub has a history of copying all our ideas and borrowing them, sometimes in "impoved" form for his site...

Okay, I need to breathe again. But just as a side note, remember that The ad that appears when you use the new leestuff.com URL will disapear after you click "Enter" and come to this page.
And also, our link to Lum's at the bottom of this site will be closed at the end of the month, because, well, Lum's site is closing at the end of the month. Okay, so I kinda wrote myself into a hole there.
As a final note, our condolences to those of our millions of fans who lost friends or family last week, and kudos to those who are helping out.

Well, it's been a while. August 2001 was the first month since I started this site where I didn't update at all. What a proud month. Anyway, despite the fact that it looks like nothing has been done, we've been hard at work. Not on the site though, on the "Fall of Lee" game. It's coming along nicely. As many of you know, Angelfire ripped down my direct link to the game file. Another reason why I hate Angelfire. But not to worry. At this point I can switch to some other server without a problem. Instead of going to www.angelfire.com/biz3/barrybuchy/m.html, go to www.leestuff.com. Same site, easier addy. I'll have an updated version of the Fall of Lee Demo up soon. But I want to fix virtually all the bugs from the original demo before I do. Congrats to the 89 of you that downloaded the other version before it was taken down. HitNRun and I are on a role with the game. We're getting a lot of work done, and we're definitely on schedule for a release sometime this winter (maybe before! Though don't get your hopes up). There are also some updates in other sections, but I don't have time to put the new HTML up now because I'm getting my cable modem fixed (again). I'll do it ASAP. And yes, I've neglected to give Phil the Answer Guy most people's questions, and I'm giving him the rest today.
And one other thing...
If you read the disturbing Lee Quote, you're probably wondering why Lee said that. Well, he wrote some interesting (and f---ing disgusting!!) stories and we found them. More on this later.

Like I've said before, it's not very often that the site is updated just a couple days apart. If you missed HitNRun's all-important update from the 14th, check the Update Archives. Now, as he said, we've released the demo of our new Lee game, The Fall of Lee. So if you haven't already done so, download it now!
I've also added some info on the bugs that are in the game to the Fall of Lee page. I'm going to be adding some more info there soon.
We went through some very intricate testing and we managed to get the game out with very few bugs. It's pretty surprising.
It also seems we aren't getting all that many votes on the new poll. I realized, after looking at the archives, that I forgot to mention the new poll so I'm doing it now. Go ahead and vote!
And one last thing for all the Robin lovers out there...yep, that's right, she updated her page. Trust me, I'm as shocked as you are. That's all the time I have for now. Expect an 'added-features' list as well as some other interesting stuff regarding the game to be out very soon.

Wow! He's updating! OMFG!
Yeah, well, we finished uploading the demo. Mike Hoagie is recovering from the numerous injuries we inflicted upon him for stealing and deleting EVERYTHING in the main directory of Matt's hard drive.
Anyway, as I was saying, demo is up, and my section on it is here. Also, I should say this again. The game isn't a Quake clone, isn't Mortal Combat, isn't even Super Mario Bros. 1. It's graphics can best be described as "Final Fantasy 3 v2.0." Let's put it this way: If you're not familiar with games made by this or this company, you aren't guaranteed to like it.
The download is 13.1 megs. We will soon be releasing it in smaller downloads, so people with 56K and without Real Download or Flashget can download the game in segments. Unfortunately, this will involve "reassembling" the game once you download all the pieces. You'll have to follow the instructions we will so generously provide.
Comments about the game should be directed here. Once we have multiple games, (yeah right) we'll probably have a separate message board, but for now, "here" will point you to our normal board.
Also, mail me or Matt with any questions, comments, and insults you might have about the demo.

I'm gonna sneak in a quick update now. Expect another update (possibly with the demo) some time soon. The demo of The Fall of Lee is complete. We finished it a little while ago. Jakub (who I believe has already completed it) has written a short review. Here it is:

"Upon first glance of the new lee game, i can say nothing short of being rather impressed. the game diverts greatly from the norm of rpg's by including real people, with an exaggerated persona, the language is great, but the graphics are elementary - other than that i like the game a lot."

We thank Jakub heartily for the excellent review. I'm unable to upload the demo currently because of limitations on webspace, but I'll have that worked out soon. I'm also working with some compression programs so that I can lower the size of this 15MB file. I'm aiming for 11MB but don't count on it.

I figured I'd update everyone to what's going on right now, considering I have a few minutes. I just checked my email and I believe I had well over a dozen people asking about when the "Lee game" is coming out. First of all, this is just the demo of the game. If you tried hard, it wouldn't be very difficult to complete it in five minutes. Right now, I'm busy sitting here hoping I'll get into the Anarchy Online fourth beta, so not a lot is getting done. But I could probably finish the work that needs to be done on it inside of an hour. The demo will be out very soon. We have a little QA testing to do on some of the features we added toward the end of the mapping. I also am working on making the file you need to download a little smaller.
While you're here, you can check out Kruk's New Gate!

Hail, people. I just have a couple of things to write here that Matt didn't cover in the other update he did. Yes, it is true. You can find information on this new game we are designing on the Fall of Lee page. And for those of you who are wondering what happened to Whitey Wackers 2, be sure to click here. It won't answer any of your questions, but you might feel better about yourself after you have a look. I know I did. Oh, and guess what! There is a New Poll! If you vote in one poll this year, it should be this one. It involves our little friend Robin, whom I haven't seen in three weeks. One last thing before I go... it's right here. If you haven't clicked there already, do so now. It will take you to our excellent message board. Matt seems to have answered some questions earlier, so now's the time to post!

No, I'm not dead. My cable modem decided to stop working, so I had to do a ton of crap to get it working again. It's still not totally fixed. I haven't been able to get a lot of online time without it, and therefore, I haven't done very much with the site. We didn't waste the downtime, believe it or not. The whole team is now working on another game that will soon be downloadable from the site. As a matter of fact, we'll have a demo out in a week or two. I don't have time to write much about it, but you can check out the current status of the game here. Hopefully, HitNRun will write up some information about the actual game this week. There will be another update very soon.

I've spent the little bit of time I've had to work on the site making some significant cosmetic changes to the entrance page and this page. It doesn't seem like all that much, but it did take a number of hours to do.
I decided to check out the Message Board after not going there for quite a while, and I replied to a couple of people's messages (they are very lucky people!). All I can say is, post away! HitNRun is very bored and would like very much to answer your posts in the rudest ways he can think of. So, by all means, post your questions and comments!
And because a new month is beginning, there is a new Monthly Poll up. So register your opinions on the site's slowly developing new look.

Over the past few days, I've had a chance to make some minor alterations to several of the sections. These include the Lee's Family section, the Staff section, the entrance page, and this page. But I really haven't had time to do much else. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back on track some time soon.
I also noticed that Robin has changed her picture in the Staff section to one that's a little cleaner. It's still her, but she's not naked this time, unfortunately. The angry Robin also demanded that I put up her page that has been ready for some time now. I decided not to provoke her, and put her page up. It's called Robin's Stuff.

Several items to address here, but the big story on Action News tonight is that the longest running error on The World has now been fixed. On the Enter page, "refrigerater" is no longer spelled with an "e"! This error has been with the World since at least August '99, possibly longer. We at the World will all miss you, refrigerater.
In other areas, Phil has been given his own page to work with as he wishes. We know you'll have an opinion on this, but like 20 of you asked for it, so whatever your opinion is, shut the hell up. We can't please everyone. The most important update: three new sounds have been added to the Lee Sounds page.
Also, Lee seems to have updated his site and the AOL profile it's attatched to. Though maybe "downdated" would be more appropriate. More on this later: don't worry, we'll archive his old profile before replacing it with his new one.
And there have been a bunch of cosmetic changes you may notice, such as the new subject bar in the Update. They are not worth mentioning, so I'm going to stop typing about them...right NOW!

I don't have all that much today. I've been busy with real work, for once. So I haven't been able to get all the stuff together. As a matter of fact, I haven't been able to so much as look at the site for the past month. I'm not sure that's going to be clearing up right away. Updates might still be a little sparse.
For now, I suggest you head over and vote in the Monthly Poll. And check out the new section: EQ Screenshots.
I will probably be having other people update the site in place of me until more time avails itself. And don't forget to check out Jakub's Angry Website if you're bored, because he seems to update it sometimes.

I thought I should make an update now, to justify even putting 'February 2001' in the Update Archives as its own month. Obviously we have had a ton of important updates this month. But there's more! First off,*ahem*
LEE HAS MOVED

Yes, holy balls, he's actually gone. Not that this stops Lee from coming up. With Phil hiding under the covers, pretending to be asleep, his over-charitable parents won't turn Lee out into the cold Philadelphia morning, especially now that he lives 40 minutes away. *sigh* If you don't believe us, here is some footage as taken by Dave.
The move was originally intended to get Ross&Kids away from Hogan before he got out of jail.(See January's Updates.)
However, an uncomfirmed report places Hogan as a "helping hand" during the move, which suggests that he might have escaped from jail and is moving with them. What can we say? BEND OVER LEE!
Also, I'm moving the HitNRun vs. Matt Duel Pic to the staff section, where it will fit in more. And this isn't to hide it! He didn't actually BEAT me, I just logged off, damnit!

Once again, things aren't quite ready to go up. It looks like there will be two or three new sections opening in the next update, but you'll have to wait a bit to see them. Everyone has been busy with things other than the site, so not a lot has gotten done. For now, head over to the Monthly Poll section and vote. I'm hoping to have the new stuff up soon.
One final thing--you may want to check out the Lee Comic again. I've edited it a bit. I'm gonna start putting up comics again believe it or not. And the new ones will be much higher quality than the one currently on there.

A lot of new stuff is currently being worked on. Unfortunately, none of it is ready right now. But we have several things that will be going up within the next few days. Still, there are several changes that I need to note.
First off, as you may have noticed, there are no longer any annoying popup adds throughout the site. I've replaced them with ad banners. I know it's not much better, but it has to be one or the other. And after giving it a lot of thought, I decided that banners are far less annoying than those popups.
Another thing, the Lee's Photo Gallery section exploded. The whole page was deleted when I was changing something around (it was some kinda bug in Angelfire). I put the pics back up (including two new pics), but I still haven't done the text. I'll try to get to it as soon as possible.
I've also put a little new/updated info in the Lee's Family section. Make sure you check out Richy, Dan, and Lee's Granny.
And one final note: I've changed the Update Archives for the new year.

Someone talked about 'old ideas' on the message board, so I decided to unearth one--The World Staff. You'll be able to see all the people who work hard every day to bring you this big HTML error known as 'The World!.'
And because I wasn't busy, I took five hours of my time and rewrote this entire main page. Was it worth it? Probably not. Anyway, there is some other updated stuff you should check out as well.
There have been some VERY minor changes to the Lee's Family section. Also, Kruk has updated The Diseased Gate and The Gate of Endless Whats. And we've finally put up some more of the questions that were mailed to Phil the Answer Guy.
And if you're interested in the game that I may release, you may want to look at the little bit of new information I've added to the Previews section.
Finally, I'd be happy to hear what you think about the new format (I should be tweaking it over the next couple of days). If you want to make a comment of suggestion, please either email me, or post your thoughts on the Message Board.
