Now to address something I've received several emails about recently: people want to know why they can't mail Phil the Answer Guy. We have some shit right now, hot off the presses. The Lee's Photo Gallery section has a new picture. The Previews section has an interesting proposition for you. Yes, you! Matt has, in his spare time, almost finished an RPG with RPGMaker 95. Here's the catch: it has nothing to do with Lee. Read the article at the bottom of Previews section, then decide whether sacrifing Lee germanity is worth getting to play a long-awaited game. Once you've written your thesis, go to the Monthly Poll and cast your vote on the topic. Also, The Update Archives have taken a cosmetic change (slightly). Sorry, but I'm still wiring up my new cable modem. I have far too much work to do with my computers to allow anyone else to use them, so deal with it. Well, its not quite time for the update, and I honestly have no idea how big it will be...but Lee has apparently decided to update early. And sh*t, somone on his fag-guild must know his Maxpages, because the link that Lee added leads to a site that would be considered extremely well-done. That is, if the topic wasn't about firing your load into Poke-ass as "Sabrina" *%#'$ your #@%! The best way you could reward me for having to endure seeing that site is to sympathize by experiencing it here. (12/4/00) Written by: Dave Okay, I got some news for everyone. Lee is moving. He is going to move sometime this month because Hulk Hogan and Dan got into a fight at Leo's and got put in jail. Ross wants to move out without telling Hogan so he won't blow her hard earned money on beer. Also something for you to take note of is Lee and Hogan's new online stud. For our purposes, he is called Asshole. We're also leaving the Monthly Poll the same as it was last month so we can plan for our special Christmas Eve Update. Plus, for half the month there was a bug in the poll system that wouldn't allow some people to vote. Matt fixed it, so now everything with it is okay. And one final thing: several new sounds have been added to the Lee Sounds section. (11/12/00) Written by: Matt Okay, I finally got around to updating... well, it's not really much of an update. I finally fixed all the problems with the poll, so make sure you go to the Monthly Poll section and vote. Since there is less than 20 days left in the month, I figured I'd try a different poll that's less Lee oriented. Vote for what you want the most. This will help me to determine whose ass to kick, and have them update their section. I've been working on a new format for this main page. Hopefully, I will putting it up within the next few updates. That's all for now. I should be putting up things in some of the sections that get a lot of votes on the poll. (10/29/00) Written by: HitNRun Woooohoo! Our private investigators have come up with a doozie! Lee has just launched a new site based primarily on the anime videogames he adores so much. Check out my review here, then see what Lee himself has to offer! This site is a must see for everyone. Why, you ask? If you like Anime-RPGs, you can find out what you and Lee have in common. If you hate Anime, like 3/4s of us here on The World's staff, you will find tons of reasons to laugh at Lee. And either way, you will roll on the floor at what a queer Lee makes out of himself. But of course, such an event must cause some permanent changes here at The World. Below Pete the Goblin will now be a small picture that is used frequently on Lee's site. Clicking on it will take you to my review page, from where you can access Lee's site itself. It is hereby dubbed "Mini Lee." Enjoy everyone! Oh, yeah. However, I didn manage to put up a new "Phil" section entitled Phil's Music. Go check it out if you think you can stomach it. I plan to do another update as soon as possible. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to finalize the poll system, upload some more "Lee" wavs, and figure out which sections have been updated. (10/8/00) Written by: Matt If you feel like it, you can check out some of the new junk... actually, there isn't much new stuff, but I did update a lot. I'll just run by the more notable things. HitNRun is almost finished Chapter 4 in The Story of Lee's Family. I recommend waiting a couple of days before checking it out. It's not quite finished, but go ahead and read what there is if you like. I've also uploaded some new files into the Lee Sounds section. That was by far the most requested thing. I have plenty more, but you'll have to wait until the next update. I added some important info into the Previews section, regarding the status of the games. And a new Monthly Poll is up, and it has a brand new script that is MUCH better than the last. Remember, the other three polls are broken. Just ignore them until I get a chance to post their results. I'll do that in the next update. And I want to wish a happy birthday to Lee! He turned 16 yesterday, October 7. Lee, I hope you know that everyone at The World knows your birthday better than anyone else. And don't feel too bad that Hogan and Ross completely forgot... We remembered. That's what counts. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (9/18/00) Written by: Matt There are a couple of problems I'm trying to deal with. The first being that I can't seem to get anybody to do anything. And the second is that the polls are screwed up. I still haven't decided what to do with the polls. I think I'm gonna leave them up until the next update. Who knows, maybe the problem will correct itself. If it doesn't work out, I'll post the current results for the three of them, and use a new script for October. Several new ideas are in consideration right now, including: having optional frames for this main page, having a flash intro, and having a new page, run primarily by Dave (I can't remember the exact idea that Dave suggested, but it's too late at night for me to care). Now, like I mentioned before, nothing is getting done around here. I decided to put three e-mails that Dave sent me, back in April, into the Lee's Family section. Please note that I didn't get a chance to thoroughly edit the e-mails yet. This means that they are probably riddled with grammatical errors (as is Dave's style of writing) and nasty language. Readers beware. And, as usual, HitNRun and I have been answering any and all queries that pop up on the Message Board. (9/2/00) Written by: Matt Well, a new month begins. That, of course, means it's time for a new poll. But wait! To help you decide, I've added some new info on each member of Lee's Family. While you're here, you might as well read chapter 3 in The Story of Lee's Family. I've also started up the new Message Board. Don't hesitate to post your questions and comments there. I will probably be answering any questions personally (meaning the answers will most likely be correct). And, as usual, there are the regular technical corrections and upgrades throughout the site. I have changed the setup of the Lee's Family section, and I've added some new information to several people. There is a new and pretty interesting wav file that's been added to the Lee Sounds section. And you also might want to stop for a second and vote in the new Monthly Poll. (6/3/00) Written by: Matt Everyone's been a little lazy around here. All I really have is a bunch of half finished crap. I think there is a new picture in the Lee Photo Gallery. But that's pretty much it. As soon as all of the work gets done on the updates there will be plenty more. (5/20/00) Written by: Matt Due to some technical problems on the site I only really have one update for today. Make sure you check out Jim's Interviews. The Lee Simulation is almost done (actually it's not but it feels so good to say it is). And if you need something to laugh at, don't hesitate to click on the banner at the top of the page (Especially if you hate Pokemon). Of course there are also various graphical updates throughout the site. (5/9/00) Written by: Matt Not much today. The only new thing is that the third gate has been added to Kruk's Gates. This is my favorite so far, mainly because it has to do with Lee. Also, Jim says he has talked to Lee, but wasn't able to record it. In the next update his interview will be there. He says he should have some recorded interviews soon. (5/4/00) Written by: Matt Okay, another small update. I don't normally do two updates in a row, so check the Update Archives if you missed it. For today I've added some new info into the Lee's Family section. And a new section has also been put up. It's called Jim's Interviews. It doesn't have that much stuff in it right now, but old Jim says there will be some good stuff in there soon. (5/1/00) Written by: Matt I've decided to give the site a new look. It's probably going to take a while but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. For now, I've added a bunch of new images all over the site. It's not too much, but I think it looks better. Anyway, these new images are JPGs so anyone can view them (Including WebTV people like Dave). That's really just a note for Dave not to f@#$ing touch the new images. Also, Kruk has his second gate up now. And one final thing. The long awaited "Lee Interactive Story" is nearing completion. It's gonna be cool when it's done. It will help a lot if you missed an update or something (as if you cared). I've also added information on another (better) game about Lee's family in the Previews section. Also, Kruk says he's almost finished his second gate. It should be in the next update. (4/19/00) Written by: Matt It has been a while but I'm back, and I have four updates (yee-f#$king-ha!). First of all, I have a new entry in the Lee's Family section. HitNRun has added a new person in his people profiles as well. The second chapter has been completed for the Story of Lee's Family section. And finally, Kruk has implemented his first gate. One last thing, the author of The Story of Lee's Family (HitNRun) has asked me to remind the audience that the story is fictional, unlike everything else we write about Lee here at The World. Written by: Matt You'll notice another counter on the first page. That is for my reference, it is probably best you ignore it. The number isn't even close to accurate. (1/28/00) Written by: Matt Dave as put in a "Bad Word" Dictionary for everyones enjoyment. Don't go there unless you aren't offended by anything. It is really bad, but what can you expect from Dave. As with all Dave entries, it is for mature (more like immature) audiences only. Because many of these new pages seem to be filled with friendly words and explicit terms, I've put "Mature" next to all pages that have immature (yet funny) garbage in them. If you are only in the market for clean humor, stick to the pages without warnings. |
